The new autumn/winter collection by Marie Méro

De nieuwe fall/winter collectie van Marie Méro

In Marie Méro's FW25 wardrobe: ‘Feeling is just as important as seeing’.

TREND STORY FW25

Marie Mero welcomes the new season with an embrace of luxury and comfort. The look of the fabrics you wear is very decisive for your overall appearance. Every fabric has a different allure. Imitation leather and faux fur, for example, have a somewhat bolder look, while soft knitwear radiates warmth and comfort.

At Marie Méro, we resolutely choose “rich” and “sustainable” fabrics.

Soft materials dominate the collection and reflect a high level of craftsmanship. The interplay of different textures makes each outfit exciting and layered. The versatility of these pieces offers endless combination possibilities for every occasion, from casual chic to dressed up, says Nancy Lefevre, head of styling at Marie Mero.

Jeans are an essential must-have this season: from trousers to skirts, blazers and jackets; ‘At Marie Mero, denim gets an elegant twist, perfectly in line with our own casual chic style for which we are known!’ says Nancy Lefevre.

TANGIBLE

For FW25, feeling is just as important as seeing. A garment should be experienced, not just with your eyes; the feel, the tactility and the cuddliness factor are also gaining in importance. In addition to the well-known (and super comfortable) Marie Méro cape, the brand is also adding ultra-soft knitwear and a faux fur body warmer to its repertoire, responding to a complete sensory experience.

COLOUR

Colour is the keyword for this season: silhouettes are constructed using different shades within a single colour, creating depth and a dynamic overall look.

The colour palette ranges from soft pastels to powerful, upbeat shades such as red, fuchsia, indigo blue and emerald green.

In addition to these shades, the fresh citrus-like “lime colour” is making its debut in the new autumn/winter collection. “The vibrant lime adds extra punch to the Marie Méro wardrobe. Dark and cold days that autumn brings can certainly use a cheerful and lively colour like this,” concludes Nancy Lefevre.

MATCH-PROOF

‘Combining different fabrics and materials creates a beautiful dynamic. But working with contrasting styles is also an important pillar within this new collection,’ says Nancy Lefevre. ‘We combine an elegant dress or feminine faux leather pencil skirt with an XL woollen coat. And wide, knitted trousers look beautiful with a “crushed” shirt. This gives our customers even more freedom to experiment with their looks.’
