We're now on our third Instagram duo shoot. Before we introduce the winning duos in detail, we'll give you an exclusive behind-the-scenes look.
Our first duo of the day, Heidi & Michelle, were expected early. They arrived at 8 a.m. in good spirits, brimming with curiosity and enthusiasm. They had long been looking forward to this day of pampering and fashion. We started with a relaxed breakfast while getting to know each other. Then followed an extended rendezvous with Nancy, head of our styling department and the fashionable mind behind the Marie Méro collections.
After making their first selection, Heidi & Michelle could start trying on their clothes, while the second duo, Ann-Sophie and Myriam, cheerfully made their entrance. These incredibly friendly ladies immediately stole our hearts and were eager to choose from their collection in our showroom. First, of course, came the before photo shoot, so the ladies could clearly see the transformation between their original look and the colorful Marie Méro touch they had after a day in the hands of our team.
After choosing the outfits, the extensive fitting, consultation, doubts, more fittings and then finally making the decision with Nancy's expert advice, Heidi & Michelle could move on to the make-up, while Myriam & Ann-Sophie took over the fitting rooms with their own selection.
And then our third duo arrived, Els & Hilde, partners in crime and colleagues turned friends . They too went through the pre-planned process, from pre-shoot, selection in the showroom, and style advice from Nancy, while our previous duos moved on to makeup and the ultimate moment : the final photoshoot with their favorite outfits. There was a pleasant bustle in our showroom, and for the last two duos who arrived so we could all have lunch together, there was also plenty to see and look forward to.
After lunch, it almost felt like we were interrupting a cozy get-together among old friends. Within a few hours, the various pairs had melded into a group, chatting away in vibrant colors.
Stefanie and Marjan from Poperinge were expected at our showroom around noon, and before their appointment with us in Aalter, they had enjoyed a lovely breakfast together to celebrate this pampering day. They had been looking forward to this day for a long time, and a cozy lunch with the other ladies and our team was the perfect way to soak up the atmosphere. The last duo of the day, Wendy and Eveline, also walked into the showroom cheerfully and enthusiastically. Wendy was pleasantly nervous, and Eveline was especially looking forward to the styling session as a loyal Marie Méro fan. As self-proclaimed besties , they had been eagerly anticipating this day of enjoyment together.
The afternoon was also packed, with before and after photoshoots for the final duos, makeup, impromptu styling advice from Nancy while shopping, and filming videos for our social media. Around 5 p.m., our busy day was drawing to a close, with all the photoshoots ticked off. Our 10 ladies had each discovered their favorite outfit, enjoyed a complete makeover, and done some shopping in our showroom in between. We concluded with a glass of cava and a pleasant chat before waving goodbye to the still-enthusiastic ladies.
