From this weekend, ladies can go shopping in the brand new
Marie Méro shop at Geldmuntstraat 26 in Bruges.
It is immediately the 3rd concept store opened by the Belgian clothing brand this year.
That now brings the total to 12 shops.
‘The shop exudes simplicity, with soft tones and
warm materials that make our timeless yet trendy collections
to their best advantage,’ says retail district manager Marjolein Braekevelt.
This spring, Marie Méro opened shops in Kortrijk and in
Waasland Shopping in Sint-Niklaas.
‘It's been a while that we wanted to come to Bruges but we
were looking for the right premises with a good location.
We came to take a look and we immediately fell in love with this location.
The space was decorated according to the revamped concept at the
hand of interior designer Laura Calleeuw. The authentic
elements were retained. Everyone who enters is impressed
impressed by the result.’
For 12 years, Steven and Ruben Van der Elst, the second generation,
have been at the helm of the Belgian fashion brand.
‘Our own outlets are even more important today
than roughly five years ago. Customers are looking for positive
experiences and want to be taken into the world of
Marie Méro. That's why last year we implemented the Find my Fit software
in our webshop. This is a tool with which we can also
the best advice online as well.’
With love, Marie Méro
