Marie Méro SS24: the perfect balance between a wonderful, nostalgic feeling and a fresh, positive view of the future
“Colors like bubblegum pink and green evoke a sense of nostalgia, while earthy tones like khaki and taupe add modernity and simplicity,” says Nancy Lefevre, head of styling at Marie Méro, proudly.
Our upcoming collection emphasizes pastel hues, both vibrant and subtle, interspersed with neutral ecrus and beiges that soften the palette. We're once again embracing a timeless fit with flowing materials for summer suits and trousers, as well as airy and sheer fabrics for tunics and jackets, and we're finishing the collection with 3D effects and textured fabrics. Playing with different materials and styles makes this collection one you can experiment with to your heart's content, perfect for any occasion. according to Nancy Lefevre.
Hyper-feminine trends set the tone for SS24. And while the look and feel of the '00s is making a comeback, the context is completely different. Where it once evoked a sense of stereotyping, hyper-feminine in 2024 is all about (self-)awareness and self-determination. A sense of growth is paramount.
" Fresh and natural materials like linen, (cotton) voile, and viscose are complemented by organza and broderies anglais in beautiful pastel shades. Think candy colors, sky blue, and soft water green. A pink thread runs through our latest collection, " says Nancy Lefevre, head of styling at Marie Méro. " Flattering, ultra-feminine, and comfortable fits in fresh materials and soft colors make women blossom. A feeling we always strive for at Marie Méro, " Nancy Lefevre continues enthusiastically.
