Contest rules Valentine's Day February 2025
‘Valentine's Day 2025. Shop, scratch and win.’
Anyone who buys at least 1 item from the new summer SS25 collection in one of the concept stores or on the webshop will receive a scratch & win card with a unique code. Scratch away the heart and you will immediately know if you have won. The competition runs from 01/02/2025 until 16/02/2025 in our 12 concept stores and on the webshop.

CONTEST RULES
The competition runs from 01/02/2025 until Thursday 16/02/25.
Anyone can participate. The number of participants is unlimited, while stocks last. 1 entry per purchase of at least 1 item from the summer SS25 collection. By participating in this competition, each participant accepts the rules and any possible competition decision of the organisers. In case of dispute, their decisions apply without recourse.
NV J. Van der Elst reserves the right to remove from the competition any person who does not comply with the set conditions. Such persons can therefore not qualify for the prize.
Late entries (after the stated closing date of the competition) will no longer be considered, whatever the reason for delay. NV J. Van der Elst cannot be held liable for such fact. Incomplete answers will be rejected.
Employees of Marie Méro are excluded from participating in the competition.
The prizes to be won are:
- 13 vouchers of €100.00 each
- 34 vouchers of €50.00 each
- 1 weekend break for 2 people
The prize is non-exchangeable and cannot be paid in cash.
The prize includes VAT.
To receive the prize, FAV will email the winning code + name and address of the winner to eva@mariemero.be no later than 28/02/2024. Prize not collected within agreed time frame will be forfeited.
When presenting the prize, the winner must confirm her identity and address. If these details do not correspond to those provided, the right to a prize will be forfeited.
As a result of taking part in the competition, the winners tacitly authorise the publication and use of their name, address and appearance and waive all rights and damages in this respect. The names of the winners will be published on the Marie Méro facebook page.
No correspondence will be entered into regarding this competition. Participants automatically declare that they agree to these competition rules.
In no event shall NV J. Van der Elst be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential or special damage resulting from the use of this site or other sites linked to it, in particular any financial or commercial loss, the loss of programmes or data in your computer system, or other, even if NV J. Van der Elst has knowledge of the fact that such damage may occur. NV J. Van der Elst cannot be held liable by you or by third parties for any modification, suspension, interruption or termination of your access to the site.
Information and personal data are collected and processed fairly and lawfully, in accordance with the Privacy Act of 8 December 1992 on the protection of privacy in relation to the processing of personal data.
By entering your personal data, you acknowledge and accept that these data may be used to further inform you about Marie Méro in the future. Please email info@mariemero.be if you do not wish to be informed further.
Printing, spelling, typesetting, technical or other such errors cannot be invoked as grounds for any obligation whatsoever on the part of NV J. Van der Elst.
NV Van der Elst exercises control over the correct course of the competition and has final authority in all cases of dispute. In the event of force majeure or in order to guarantee the correct course of the competition, it may take any decision, temporary or otherwise, to shorten, postpone, modify, transfer, extend or cancel this competition or any part or phase thereof.
Despite all the precautions taken by NV J. Van der Elst in drawing up and designing the website and organising the competition, it cannot be ruled out that information may be incomplete, incorrect or insufficient (e.g. printing error, error in image, etc...). Such errors are not binding on NV J. Van der Elst and cannot be held against it.
These terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law and any disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Ghent.
